Terms and Conditions

Scoodle LLC · Last updated September 19, 2026 · Version 2026-09-19.1

These terms cover your Scoodle account and the Scoodle Services and The Scoodle Scoop communication programs. Support: support@scoodlegolf.com. Please also read our Privacy Policy.

Your Scoodle account

When claiming a Scoodle number, review these Terms and Conditions and choose the separate agreement checkbox before completing your claim. We record the version accepted, the time and your authenticated account. This agreement does not opt you into Text or Email.

Provide accurate information, use only your own player identity and keep your sign-in secure. Do not misuse another player's record or use Scoodle for unlawful activity, abusive messages or unsolicited bulk communications. Contact support if an account or contestant record is incorrectly linked.

Your Scoodle Services and Scoop messages will always be available with your Scoodle login. Communication Preferences control delivery by Text and Email, not access within Scoodle.

Your choice, one sender and purpose at a time

The second step of Claim Scoodle Number offers Opt in and Opt out for Scoodle Services texts, followed by a separate Email choice. Neither choice is preselected. Completing signup records your explicit selections after account authentication. Unanswered choices grant no consent and do not change existing subscriptions. If you opt out of both, check the website for your personal event updates, pairings, tee-time changes and scorecards; automatic service texts and emails will not be sent. Account/security messages and deliveries you specifically request remain separate. The Scoodle Scoop invitations have separate choices in My Profile. If saving fails, review and save your choices in Communication Preferences.

Choosing Opt in and saving your Communication Preferences records your agreement to that channel's stated messages from the sender named on the card. Choosing Opt out or leaving a question unanswered gives no consent. Directors cannot provide this consent for you. Joining a field, viewing a shared scorecard, or claiming a Scoodle number does not by itself subscribe you.

Consent is optional and is not a condition of purchase, membership, claiming a Scoodle number or playing. During onboarding and event registration, we ask you to choose Opt in or Opt out separately for Text and Email in Scoodle Services and The Scoodle Scoop. Neither answer is preselected, and choosing Opt out does not restrict access to Scoodle. You can update choices in your profile. If preferences are temporarily unavailable, you can continue and answer later.

Scoodle Services

This first-party program from Scoodle is available even without a group connection. Text opt-in authorizes recurring automated texts with your tee times, pairings, scorecard links and tee-time changes for events you enter on Scoodle, including events run by different clubs. Email opt-in authorizes the same automatic golf service updates by email. It does not authorize invitations to events you have not entered, advertising or arbitrary director messages.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Turn off automatic emails in your profile or through an email unsubscribe control. Your services and messages remain available through your Scoodle login.

The Scoodle Scoop

This separate first-party program covers standardized event invitations sent by Scoodle, including invitations to events you have not entered. Directors supply event details through Scoodle-approved templates: event name, date, course, entry fee and available spots. Text opt-in authorizes recurring automated event-invitation texts; Email opt-in authorizes those invitations by email. No club marketing promotions or free-form director messages are included. Invitations may encourage entering a paid event, so they require their own choice rather than using Services consent.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help. Use the email unsubscribe link or your profile to turn off Scoop emails. Services choices and historical club choices do not subscribe you to Scoop. Saving preferences does not activate messaging delivery.

Verification codes

When you request a phone verification code after seeing the verification disclosure, you agree to receive the requested transactional security text. That request does not opt you in to recurring event or promotional messages. Standard message and data rates may apply. Never share a verification code.

Email

Each program has its own Email choice. Turn off Services emails or Scoop invitations independently in your profile or use the unsubscribe link. A scorecard email you specifically request is a separate one-time delivery, not a subscription to either program. Account/security emails are separate from these optional automatic golf updates and invitations.

One-time requests

A specific request to text a scorecard link authorizes only that delivery when the request identifies Scoodle, the destination and the message purpose. It does not turn on recurring updates or club messages. It cannot bypass a STOP or provider suppression. Merely having a phone number in a director's field is not a delivery request or SMS consent.

Stopping messages and getting help

Reply STOP to the sending number to stop texts, or HELP for help. You may receive a final opt-out confirmation. A STOP request may block all messages from that sending number or messaging service, even when both Scoodle programs use it. Turning a profile checkbox back on does not bypass a carrier or provider block; follow the re-subscription instructions or contact support.

You can also contact support@scoodlegolf.com for help or to withdraw consent. Changing your phone or email requires a new opt-in for the new destination; do not enter someone else's contact information.

Delivery and availability

Messages depend on carrier coverage, service availability and Scoodle's messaging setup. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Saving a preference does not guarantee delivery. Check Scoodle directly for current tee times and event information.

Privacy and changes

We do not share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with other groups or third parties for their marketing or promotional purposes. See the Privacy Policy for service-provider processing, event visibility and privacy requests. New message purposes or senders require a new consent choice.
