Privacy Policy

Scoodle LLC ยท Last updated September 19, 2026

This policy describes how Scoodle handles information in Scoodle, including player profiles, golf events and communications. Questions or privacy requests: support@scoodlegolf.com.

Information we use

We process account and contact information you provide, such as your name, email, phone and Scoodle number. Optional profile details can include a photo, address, date of birth, gender, GHIN information, handicap and golf preferences. We also process event entries, pairings, scores, results, communication choices and delivery records. Directors may start a contestant record before you create an account.

Authentication, browser storage and service logs support sign-in, saved settings, reliability and security. Do not share passwords or verification codes with a director or another player.

How information is used and displayed

We use information to operate accounts, connect known contestant records, organize golf events, show pairings and scores, provide support, prevent abuse and deliver permitted communications. Event names, player names, handicaps, scores and results may appear on shared scorecards, pairings and leaderboards. A public scorecard is not a private profile.

Directors can access contestant information needed to manage their events. Linking a contestant record or joining an event is not itself consent to promotional email or text messaging. Only the player can record an opt-in, using the signup Opt in / Opt out choices or Communication Preferences. Signup selections are saved only after account authentication.

Communication privacy

Scoodle Services and The Scoodle Scoop are separate first-party choices, available without a group connection. Services covers automatic tee-time, pairing, scorecard-link and tee-time-change notifications from Scoodle for events you enter, including events run by different clubs. Your Scoodle Services and Scoop messages will always be available with your Scoodle login. Communication Preferences control Text and Email delivery, not your in-app access.

The Scoodle Scoop covers standardized event invitations sent by Scoodle, including invitations to events you have not entered. These use Scoodle-approved templates and event details such as event name, date, course, entry fee and available spots. This choice does not authorize club marketing promotions or free-form director messages. Text and Email are separate choices in each program. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Consent is not transferred between programs. Earlier group preferences remain in the audit history; they do not opt you into either Scoodle program. Service providers may process information as needed to provide authentication, hosting, support and message delivery on our behalf.

We separately record the version and time of your Claim # Terms and Conditions agreement against your authenticated account. That agreement is not messaging consent. We record the selected sender/program, contact destination, communication type, consent wording/version and time of your choice. We distinguish Opted in, Opted out and Not answered. An unanswered preference and existing default-on profile settings are not evidence of an opt-in. If you change your phone or email, consent for the previous destination does not automatically apply to the new destination.

Your choices

Opt-in is optional and is not a condition of purchase, membership, claiming a Scoodle number or playing. Manage your choices in your profile. Reply STOP to stop texts or HELP for help; use email unsubscribe controls. Stopping optional communications does not delete your account or remove access to your scorecard. Account/security messages and deliveries you specifically request are separate; a request is not permission for ongoing messages and never bypasses a text-message STOP block.

Contact support to request access, correction or deletion of your information, or help disconnecting an incorrectly linked contestant record. We may need to verify the request and preserve event records, legal records or information needed for security and dispute resolution.

Retention and protection

We retain account, event and communication records as needed to provide the service, document consent and opt-outs, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. We use access restrictions and service-provider safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. Information may be processed where our providers operate, including the United States.

Junior golfers

Children under 13 should not create their own Scoodle accounts or submit personal information through a claim form. A parent or guardian should contact support before a junior player's information is collected or published. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information without appropriate authorization.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when practices change. Material changes to messaging purposes require a new choice, not an automatic expansion of existing consent. Contact Scoodle at support@scoodlegolf.com.
